Toronto FC is a football club from Toronto, Canada, founded in 2006. During four seasons it had been the only Canadian club to participate in Major League Soccer.
In 2011 and 2012 seasons it was joined by the other clubs from Canada – Vancouver Whitecaps and Montreal Impact.
The club’s executives are Larry Tanenbaum, Richard Peddie and Tom Anselmi. Paul Mariner is the head coach and Torsten Frings is the captain.
BMO Field with the capacity of 21,859 is the Toronto’s home arena.
Bank of Montreal is also the main sponsor which name can be found in printed outputs, paraphernalia and team jerseys as well as in the stadium’s name.
The official nickname of the team is Reds, therefore its home color is red and away color is white.
