Ufa is a football club based in the capital city of the Republic of Bashkortostan. It was founded in 2010 and based on the football club Bashinformsvyaz-Dynamo Ufa. The newly formed team made their debut in the Russian Cup match against Syzran-2003, where they lost 3-4 in penalty shootout. Ufa began to compete in the third tier, the Second Division and were promoted to the Russian National Football League in 2012/13. In 2014, under the management of Igor Kolyvanov, Ufa earned their debut promotion to the top flight, just four years after the club’s foundation.
Their home venue is Dynamo Stadium, which has a capacity for 4,500 spectators.
