Wuhan Zall is a Chinese club from the city of Wuhan founded in 2009. The club is a successor of Wuhan Guanggu who were disbanded and excluded from the professional league after inappropriate on-field behavior and a subsequent conflict with the Chinese Football Association. Nevertheless, Hubei area needed a football team to represent them in Chinese football league system and Hubei Province soccer association helped a new club to be formed. Wuhan Zall had to begin their way in the lowest league of the Chinese football pyramid as they found themselves in the third tier. However, the club contained mostly players from the former Wuhan Guanggu and they showed their team spirit finishing the 2009 China League Two in the runner-up position. In between 2010 and 2012, they competed in the second tier and won promotion to the top flight ahead of the 2013 season. However, after the season 2013 Wuhan Zall got relegated back to League One.
Wuhan Zall players have black and orange kits very similar to those of Wuhan Guanggu. They play their home matches at Xinhua Road Sports Center which can hold up to 32,137 people.
