An Italian football manager Alberto Zaccheroni was born in 1953 and had a short playing career because of injury.
At the age of 30 he headed Cesenatico in 1983 and since then coached many clubs but started to succeed in his managerial career since 1997/98 season with Udinese qualifying for the UEFA Cup.
After the achievements of Udinese, Zaccheroni headed AC Milan. The key players from Udinese Oliver Bierhoff and Thomas Helveg followed him and in 1998/99 season Milan won Serie A.
The next club Zaccheroni guided was Lazio, he stayed there for 2001/02 season. In the mid 2003/04 season he joined Internazionale and led them to the 4th place in Serie A.
He spent the 2006/07 season with Torino. He made a good start with Juventus, where he signed a 4 month contract in 2010, but later the team showed poor performance and finished Serie A in the seventh place.
Zaccheroni took charge of the Japan national team in 2010 and led the team to the 2011 AFC Asian Cup title. In 2014 Zaccheroni failed to make it past the group stage in Brazil and resigned.
