Andrea Stramaccioni is a former Italian football player and a manager. He was born 9 January 1976.
Stramaccioni's playing career was ended due to a serious knee trauma when he was in Bologna in the season 1994/1995 and from the mid-20s he started coaching career. Stramaccioni managed a number of youth teams, gaining his first success with Az Sport.
His next step was the youth team of Roma that he led to victories in Giovanissimi Nazionali in 2007 and Allievi Nazionali in 2010. Later he was invited to work with Inter Primavera team and helped them to win 2011–12 NextGen series. Half a year later he was promoted to the position of the head coach replacing Claudio Ranieri.
During his first run as a head coach Inter finished 6th and managed to beat Milan in the Derby della Madonnina.
His following season was a failure with Inter finishing 9th in Serie A and Stramaccioni was fired.
In the summer 2014 Stramaccioni took charge of Udinese.
