César Alejandro Farías Acosta is the head coach of the Venezuela national football team. He took over as a coach of Nueva Cádiz and brought them to the Venezuelan Segunda División victory.
César Farías headed such teams as Trujillanos, Deportivo Táchira, Mineros de Guayana and Deportivo Anzoátegui.
In 2007 he was appointed the head coach of the Venezuela national team.
The 2008/09 season César Farías coached the Venezuela U 20 team and they qualified for their first FIFA U-20 World Cup in 2009.
In 2011 he led the Venezuela national team to the knockout stage of the Copa América and it was the first time Venezuela reached the semifinal.
