Eugênio Machado Souto, commonly known as Geninho, is a Brazilian football coach and former player.
He embarked on his managerial career in 1984. In 1993, Geninho recorded his first significant achievement – the Saudi Premier League victory with Al-Shabab. In 2001, he led Atlético Paranaense to their first and only Campeonato Brasileiro Série A title. Coaching Corinthians in 2003, Geninho helped the club to win the Campeonato Paulista. Thanks to his terrific coaching abilities, Goiás Esporte Clube triumphed in the Campeonato Goiano in 2006. In 2012, Geninho took over the reins at Portuguesa and later on at São Caetano and Sport Recife.
