Georgi Petrovich Kondratiev is the head coach of the Belarus national team as well as Belarus U23 team.
A retired Soviet international and Belarusian footballer, Kondratiev started his playing career in 1978 in Dvina Vitebsk.
In 1980 he moved to Dynamo Minsk, and then joined Dynamo Brest. Since 1984 till 1989 he played for the Soviet Union national team, where he made 14 appearances and scored 4 goals.
Then Kondratiev played in many football clubs, among them were Chornomorets Odessa, Lokomotiv Moscow, St. Pölten, Metallurg Molodechno, Temp Shepetivka, Wismut Gera, KaIK Kaskinen.
He finished his playing career in Slavia Mozyr and stayed there as an assistant coach.
He went on his managerial career as Dinamo Minsk assistant coach and then became the team’s caretaker. He headed Lokomotiv Vitebsk, Smorgon and in 2006 he started as an assistant coach of Belarus U21 and soon he became its head coach. Then he guided Belarus U23.
In December 2011 he headed the Belarus national team.
