Gianni De Biasi is a retired Italian football player, current manager of Albanian national team.
De Biasi started his playing career in 1974 in Treviso, but a season after was signed by Inter Milan, though did not manage to secure a place in the senior squad. Later De Biasi was loaned to Serie C team Reggiana. In 1978 the midfielder appeared in Brescia, where he spent 5 seasons. After that he moved to Vicenza and eventually finished his playing career.
In 1990 De Biasi entered into coaching, starting as youth team manager for Bassano. Two years later he made his debut as senior team coach in Vatesse from Serie C2. His first achievement on the managerial path was C1 club Modena, which under his helm was promoted to Serie A. In 2006 De Biasi also successfully lead Torino to the top tier. After a short spell in Levante, that he did not manage to save from relegation, he moved for a year to Udinese though did not achieve much success in the team.
On 22 December 2009 Gianni De Biasi was appointed as the coach of Albanian national team.
