A South African football coach Manqoba Mngqithi was born on 25 April 1971 in Umzimkhulu.
Manqoba is a schoolteacher by profession; nevertheless, he opted to try himself as a football coach. He’s already worked in this sphere more than 15 years. He started his career with managing such clubs as Maritzburg City, Moja United, Royal Tigers and University of KwaZulu-Natal. In 2007, he was hired by Golden Arrows and he started a new successful stage in his coaching career. During the 2008/2009 season, Mngqithi guided the squad to the victory in the MTN8.
In 2010, the coach joined AmaZulu and in 2012 he had tenure at Chippa United, which turned to be a failure. At the beginning of the 2012/2013 season, Manqoba agreed to return to the former club Golden Arrows and guided the team for one season. In October 2013 Mngqithi left the club.
