Oleg Kubarev is a former Belarusian midfielder turned manager. During his playing career he had spells at such clubs as Torpedo Zhodino, SKAF Minsk, Vityaz Vitebsk, Torpedo Zhodino, Metallurg Molodechno, BelAZ Zhodino, Molodechno, Samotlor-XXI Nizhnevartovsk , Vairogs Rēzekne, Yelimay Semipalatinsk, Torpedo-Kadino Mogilev, Lida, Torpedo Zhodino and SKAF Minsk.
In 2001 Kubarev stepped onto managerial path as he was appointed assistant and player-coach at SKAF Minsk. He worked as an assistant with Lokomotiv Minsk, Darida and FC Minsk.
In 2006 he was appointed as Torpedo Zhodino head coach and worked with the team for three years. In 2009 the manager joined Gomel for a three-year spell.
In 2013 Oleg Kubarev took charge of Spartaks Jūrmala.
