Patrick Gabriel is the head coach of AS Nancy. He was born in 1962 in Paris and came through the youth ranks of Élan sportif Montreuil-sous-Bois, USEP Paris, AS Centre Paris and AS Nancy. Patrick Gabriel spent his professional career playing for AS Nancy and FC Tours.
He began his managerial career at US Chantilly and stayed there between 1990 and 1992, then he moved to his former club AS Nancy. There Gabriel guided the reserves (C and B teams) and between 1997 and 2002 he worked in CS Cuiseaux-Louhans as a youth coach, in 2002 he returned to AS Nancy B. At the beginning of 2013 he was appointed the head coach of the first team.
