Ricardo Luis Pozzi Rodrigues, commonly known as Ricardinho, is a former Brazilian midfielder and current coach of Avaí in the Campeonato Brasileiro Série B. He was born on 23 May 1976 in São Paulo, Brazil.
At the early years of his career, Ricardo played for such clubs as Paraná, Bordeaux, Corinthians, São Paulo and Santos. Throughout his playing career, he claimed three Campeonato Brasileiro Série A titles: two with Corinthians in 1998 and 1999 and one with Santos in 2004. In 2006, Ricardinho moved to Turkey where he joined Beşiktaş. He helped them to win the Turkish Cup in 2007. In the 2008/09 season, the Brazilian found himself at Qatari side Al Rayyan SC. In between 2000 and 2006 Ricardinho earned 23 caps to the Brazil national team. In 2002, he was part of the team who won the FIFA World Cup.
In 2012, Ricardo Rodrigues embarked on his managerial career with Paraná. After that he was at the helm of Ceará and in March 2013 took over the coaching reins at Avaí from the second division.
