Rudi Garcia

Rudi Garcia is a former footballer and an acting coach. During his career as a footballer, he played in the position of midfielder.

Rudi’s coaching career began in 1994 in Corbeil-Essonnes. At the beginning of 2001, he got the head coach position in AS Saint-Étienne instead of John Toshack where he worked till the end of the season only.

In July 2008, Rudi Garcia signed a contract with Lille OSC management. In the first season under his charge the team finished fifth in the national championship and got a place in the UEFA Europa League where they made it to the Last 16 round. In the 2009/2010 season, Lille OSC finished 4th in the championship. On May 14, 2011 the team beat Paris Saint-Germain and won the national cup.

In 2013 Rudi Garcia became the manager of Italian Roma.
