Vítězslav Lavička is a football manager from the Czech Republic. Currently he is the head coach of Sparta Prague. Lavička was born in 1963 in Plzeň, Czechoslovakia and played for such teams as Škoda Plzeň, Sparta Prague, RH Cheb, Spartak Hradec Králové and Bohemians Praha.
He began his managerial career at Sparta Prague and the guided FK Viktoria Žižkov, FC Slovan Liberec, Czech Republic U-21 and Sparta Prague. In 2006 he was awarded as the Coach of the Year and in 2006 and 2007 he was the Coach of the Year at the Czech Golden Ball.
In February 2009 he took charge of Sydney FC, competing in Australian A-League. He led the team to the 2009/10 league title and was named A-League coach of the year. In 2010/11 they were Asian Champions League winners.
In 2012 Lavička returned to the Czech Republic where he took charge of Sparta Prague.
