Yuriy Sarkisyan is a retired footballer from Uzbekistan. He was born in 1947 in Olmaliq and began his professional playing career at a local football club Metallurg in 1968. Between 1970 and 1975 he played for Avtomobilist Termez and then moved to Neftyanik Fergana.
He retired in 1982 and in 1987 he took over his managerial career at Neftchi Farg’ona. Since 1992 his team won four consecutive Uzbek League titles, in 1994 and 1996 they became Uzbek Cup winners. Between 2002 and 2004 he guided the Uzbekistan national team.
