The Scotland national football team represents Scotland in international football and is governed by the Scottish Football Association.
The Scotland national team is regarded as one of the oldest teams. It played in the first international football match in 1872 against England. But in spite of that remarkable fact the team hasn’t won any serious awards. Scotland qualified for the World Cups and the UEFA Euro Cups several times but never made it possible to progress from the group, though some famous footballers from such clubs as Liverpool, Blackburn Rovers, and Rangers play for the team.
