Abel Resino is to safe Celta from relegation

The Spanish side attempts to change fortunes appointing a new coach

Paco Herrera was sacked on Monday as the side fell to the relegation zone. Celta president Carlos Mouriño selected Resino as a new manager whose aim is to escape from the bottom of the table.

Abel Resino started his coaching career in 2005 when he was appointed as Ciudad de Murcia manager. Yhe tactician had spells at Levante UD, CD Castellón, Atlético de Madrid, Real Valladolid and Granada.

The coach who penned an agreement with the side until June will be presented to the squad at training session on Tuesday.
