Abramovich to make Falcao the highest-paid Chelsea player

Marca informs that Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has sent Atlético de Madrid forward Falcao personal invitation to visit London in attempt to lure the Columbian forward to Stamford Bridge.

The Russian billionaire is said to be keen on signing the 26 year-old striker amid the inconsistency of Chelsea’s forward Fernando Torres. Abramovich is prepared to make a € 56 million bid for Falcao and offer the Columbian a lucrative € 12.5 million salary which will make him the highest-paid Chelsea player.
