Abramovich to offer Chelsea interim Benitez permanent deal

Abramovich to offer Chelsea interim Benitez permanent deal

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is reportedly ready to offer Rafa Benitez new contract turning him from interim to permanent Chelsea coach.

Abramovich is said to be impressed with recent Blues’ performance. Chelsea have won 6 out of their last 7 games scoring 26 goals. Benitez has inspired confidence in his compatriot Torres who has scored on a goal last seven games.

Taking into account the reluctance of Pep Guardiola to join Chelsea and the speculations linking Jose Mourinho with a move to Man Utd, the appointment of Benitez on a long-term contract is looking increasingly likely.
