AC Milan Galliani: Robinho is going nowhere

AC Milan Galliani: Robinho is going nowhere

AC Milan have dismissed the speculations linking their forward Robinho with a move away from club.

The 29-year-old Brazilian has been struggling to return to his best in Italy, since joining the Rossoneri from Manchester City back in 2010. The recent transfer rumours suggested Robinho could return back to his home country, amid reports he has fell out of favour with manager Allegri at the training session.

And yet, vice-president Adriano Galliani revealed the Italian giants are not looking to part ways with the striker, whose current deal is due to expire in 2014. He said: “Robinho is under contract with Milan and will stay with Milan. He is not going to leave. Everything is possible in Italian football but, in principle, he stays at Milan. I know a bit about Internacional’s interest, but we are focused on beating Siena to qualify for next season’s Champions League.”
