Ajax Eriksen could be leaving the club in summer

Daily Mal reports top Premier League clubs have been put on alert with the news highly-rated Ajax playmaker Christian Eriksen is reluctant to sign a new deal with the Dutch side.

The 20-year-old midfielder has been the subject of ongoing speculations linking him with move to Liverpool, Manchester United, Tottenham and Manchester City. However, until recently, Eriksen has not shown any signs of interest in leaving Netherlands.

Ajax technical director Marc Overmars confirmed Eriksen is on the verge of leaving the club, saying “Christian has informed us that he doesn’t want to sign a new contract right now. I think he and his agent want to see what opportunities present themselves this summer. We want him to stay here for at least two more years, but the day he leaves us, he will be ready to play for the very best. He’s a player even the biggest clubs in the world could do with having in their squad.”
