Alexandru Maxim completes move to Stuttgart

The Romanian international signed a four-year deal with Bruno Labbadia’s side.

The player has reportedly turned down the offer of Steaua Bucharest choosing the Bundesliga side instead. The 22-year-old Romanian previously played at the first-division side Pandurii Targu-Jiu.

Stuttgart sports director Fredi Bobic expressed his contend with the transfer, claiming: “With Alexandru Maxim we have acquired a technically skilled player who can be used in several positions in midfield. We see a lot of potential to develop.”
