Allegri to stay in Milan
Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani underlined that the head coach Massimiliano Allegri will remain at his position for the following season.
The manager was linked with Roma as the capital side sacked its coach Zdenek Zeman on Saturday. Allegri was harshly criticized in autumn when the Italian side was hanging in the mid-table position, recently though Milan won eight out of last ten games and climbed to the fourth place behind Lazio.
The club’s vice-president Adriano Galliani claimed the club has no intention of letting the tactician leave the side.
“Roma can’t steal managers from other sides,” the official noted. “Allegri will stay as Milan boss next season. He’s a good tactician and we’ve always known that. He reminds me of Carlo Ancelotti, for how well balanced he is,” he claimed.
Galliani emphasized that Milan does not want to make managerial changes at this moment.
“We’re climbing back up the league table and fighting for the places that we always have done. We’re now moving at our pace from the last two seasons,” the club’s official stated.
