Anderlecht Mbokani keen on Premier League move

Premier League sides have been put on alert with the news Anderlecht forward Dieumerci Mbokani would relish the move to England in summer.

The 27-year-old Congolese has been in excellent form this season, scoring 17 goals. His profligacy attracted attention from a host of European sides. Mbokani revealed that he would be happy to play in a league of a better standard, citing the Premier League as his dream destination. He said: “I am very happy to leave the club on a good note, now I need to think about my next move. England will be my first choice, but Italy also.”

Several Premier League clubs are said to be closely monitoring the situation, including Sunderland , Aston Villa, Everton, and even Liverpool.

West Brom, who are looking for a replacement to their goal-scoring sensation Romelu Lukaku, are considered to be the favourites to secure the services of the striker.
