Arjen Robben: Arsenal could lose Wilshere

Bayern Munich winger Arjen Robben revealed Arsenal will struggle to retain the services of their young star Jack Wilshere, should their trophyless run continue.

After suffering the 2-0 defeat to Bayern Munich at the Emirates Stadium, Arsenal face the perspective of finishing their eighth successive season without a silverware.

Robben said he is unsure of how long Wilshere is prepared to wait for the titles. “I don’t know if Arsenal can keep him if they are not winning things. It’s always difficult to judge that about another player. But you can see that Wilshere is a very big talent and he is only young still. He’s just 21 years old. He will definitely be a big player.”
