Arsenal to bid for Le Havre starlet Benjamin Mendy

Arsenal are seriously considering the possibility of signing Le Havre left back Benjamin Mendy.

The Gunners boss Arsene Wenger continues digging deep in transfer market to find some hidden gems. This time the Frenchman wants to lure the highly-rated 18-year-old France international Benjamin Mendy. Wenger made a bid of £2.5million for the player however his club reportedly wants twice as much as above-mentioned amount for their valuable asset.
According to the recent reports the North London club will face a stiff competition from Sunderland, Cardiff, Juventus and Lyon for the player.

Despite his relatively young age Mendy has firmly established himself as an important first team player at Le Havre, having made 37 appearances in all competitions.
