Arsenal target QPR’s Julio Cesar

Queens Park Rangers, who lost the relegation battle this season, are prepared to part ways with their goalkeeper Julio Cesar amid reported interest from Arsenal.

The Rangers are keen to offload their high earning players in order to balance the books and goalkeeper Julio Cesar who is on £70,000-a-week salary at the club is thought to be the most likely candidate to leave the Loftus Road.

The 33-year-old Brazil international has joined QPR from Inter last summer, and was praised by the pundits for his impressive performances during his side’s tough relegation struggle. Milan are also closely monitoring the situation with the player.

Arsenal are currently actively searching the replacement to their number one Wojciech Szczęsny and also have names of Hamburg’s Rene Adler, Stoke’s Asmir Begovic and Stuttgart’s Sven Ulrich on their wish list.
