Atletico pens a new deal with Miranda

The club and the player expended the deal that was due to expire in 2014.

The Spanish side informed that they reached an agreement with Joao Miranda on extending the contract till 2016. The previous deal of the defender who moved to the Calderón in 2011 was set to expire in June 2014.

“I’m over the moon. I’ve been working hard to earn this new deal and I think it’s an agreement that suits both parties. I feel really settled at Atlético, which is like a second home for me. I love Madrid as a city and I’m really happy here,”claimed the player after signing a new contract.
