Axed Man City coach Mancini could take over Napoli

Former Manchester City boss refused to rule out the possibility of returning to Italy to take charge of Napoli after his sacking from the Premier League side on Monday.

The Italian lifted FA Cup and Premier League trophies with the Citizens during his Premier League stay. The recent speculations have linked him with a move to such high-profile clubs as Monaco, PSG and Napoli.

Mancini revealed that a switch to Napoli, who has been main Serie A challengers to Juventus would be not be off the cards. He said: “Napoli is a great team which has a great coach,” he said. Me on the Napoli bench? In my job never say never. But I’m here for personal reasons and not to meet (Napoli president, Aurelio) De Laurentiis.”
