Barca is exhausted says Roura

The assistant coach claims the Blaugrana was not fresh enough in the game against Valencia.

The Catalan powerhouse showed bleak performance in the fixture against Valencia and only managed to secure a point in the game. The assistant coach Jordi Roura revealed that Valencia did not allow to show Barca their best game, underlining: “Their intensive performance made it tough for us to play our game and it was hard for us to get close to their area.”

The coach also revealed that the Blaugrana was exhausted after the Cup fixture against Real.

“Probably we didn’t create a lot of chances and we weren’t as fresh as we have been in the past. We’re coming off a very tough game away to Madrid and that, from a physical stand, always wears you down,” revealed Roura.

Jordi Roura is temporary heading Barca first team while the head coach Tito Vilanova is undergoing treatment in New York.
