BATE and Dynamo Kyiv reach the UEFA Champions League play-offs

Debreceni VSC 0-2 FC BATE Borisov (1-3 on aggregate)
Feyenoord 0-1 FC Dynamo Kyiv (1-3 on aggregate)

Two goals from Dmitri Mozolevski and Aleksandr Volodko led BATE to the UEFA Champions League play-offs.

The second leg of the third qualifying round turned out to be a success for the Belarusian team, though the first one ended with 1-1 draw. In Nyiregyhaza BATE could turn their dominance into goals.

Dmitri Mozolevski scored an opener in the first half and Aleksandr Volodko secured another goal in the second half.

FC Dynamo Kyiv defeated Feyenoord 3-1 on aggregate and secured their place in the UEFA Champions League play-offs.

The second leg in Rotterdam wasn’t successful for the hosts as they were beaten 0-1.

The 19-year-old Ukrainian goalkeeper Maxym Koval deflected the hosts’ efforts and didn’t let in a goal. In added time Ideye Brown managed to score the winning goal, which led Dynamo to slender victory.

The visitors’ narrow lead 1-0 allowed them to progress to the UEFA Champions League play-offs.
