Bayern seals a deal with Jan Kirchhoff

Munich club won the race for the talented defender.

Kirchhoff will arrive at the Allianz arena in summer and is expected to sign a three-year contract. The German international was born in Frankfurt and made 51 appearances for Mainz in the top flight and 17 appearances for the German U-21 team.

Bayern sporting director Matthias Sammer claimed he was satisfied with the transfer and with the fact that the player accepted the challenge of moving to the next level.
