Blackburn signed Bentley on loan

Daily Mirror states Blackburn have completed the signing of David Bentley from Tottenham on loan until the end of the season.

The 28-year-old midfielder is hoping that the spell back at Ewood Park where he enjoyed his best years can kick start his career. Bentley’s career stalled at Tottenham where he has barely featured in the first team since joining for £15 million in 2008. He was on the verge of joining Queens Park Rangers to reunite with his former boss Harry Redknapp, however the deal fell through.

Bentley has earned five England caps and hopes to get back to his best form thanks to a brief spell with his former club.
