Blackpool’s Ince dream of return to Liverpool put on hold

Blackpool’s Ince dream of return to Liverpool put on hold

Daily Mail reports that Blackpool are trying to retain their talented player Tom Ince by ignoring Liverpool calls.

Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers has repeatedly declared he is interesting to re-sign 20-year-old starlet in January despite releasing him in January 2011. Liverpool were hoping to make a £7million switch for the winger, however according to Daily Mail the Tangerines began playing hardball over Tom Ince, the son of the well-known midfielder Paul Ince who played for Liverpool in the past.

Daily Mail states that Blackpool chairman refuses to answer Brendan Rodgers calls. That same tactics was used by Blackpool as Liverpool tried to sign their player Charlie Adams back in 2011. As a result the Scot was forced to stay at the club for another 6 months.

Tom Ince has been in magnificent form this season scoring 25 goals and setting up another 10.
