Blue Samurai advance to semifinals

Having beaten Egypt, Japan reached the semifinals of the Olympic Games, where they will meet Mexico.

Blue Samurai started to dominate on the 14th minute when Kensuke Nagai broke the deadlock. The second goal eventually came from Maya Yoshida in the second half and, when eight minutes remained, Yuki Otsu netted the third goal, scoring an impressive 3-0 victory over Egypt.
