Busquets is number one in Barca

The midfielder was selected as Catalan Player of the Year.

Barcelona player Sergio Busquets won the competition for the best player of the year prize that is voted by football professionals and fans. The award is presented to the best footballer of the region at the special ceremony at the beginning of March.

The midfielder played a significant role in Barcelona’s Copa del Rey victory and Spain’s triumph at Euro 2012.
