Carroll keen on Newcastle return

Daily Star reports that Andy Carroll, who joined Liverpool from Newcastle for £35 million two years ago, wants to return to St James’ Park.

By moving on loan to West Ham Carroll is said to try and convince Liverpool coach Brendan Rodgers that he is a quality player. However Rodgers has said Carroll he has no future at the club and is free to leave next summer.

Forward hopes that Rodgers can sell him back to beloved Newcastle in a part-exchange deal involving Demba Ba.
