Cavani back on Man City radar

Cavani back on Man City radar

Daily Mail informs Manchester City boss Roberto Mancini is determined to offload several under-performing players and sign few big-name players to the Etihad stadium in a bid to reshape his struggling side.

Man City have recently announced they are not going to pursue their interest in the prolific Napoli striker, as they are not able to afford his inflated price-tag. However with Chelsea in the driving seat to sign Columbian star Radamel Falcao, now it seems Cavani returned on their radar.

City are believed to have kick-started the talks about the move for their long-term target with a reported fee of £52 million on the cards. At the moment Cavani is leading Serie A goal scoring charts with 18 goals, helping Napoli to second place five points behind leaders Juventus.
