Chelsea Cole and Cahill set to feature in the Europa league clash against Basel

Chelsea’s chances of reaching Europa League final have been given a huge boost with the news their defensive duo Gary Cahill and Ashley Cole have returned to full fitness following their recovery from injuries.

Left back Ashley Cole has sustained a hamstring strain during FA Cup quarter-final replay 2-1 victory over Manchester United, while Cahill underwent a minor surgery on his knee injury.

Both players flew to Switzerland to take part in the training session ahead of the Europa League semi-final first leg and are likely to be included in the starting line-up by the interim Rafa Benitez.

Oscar, who limped off during Sunday’s 2-2 Premier League draw with Liverpool with a damaged groin, will likely feature in the first XI.
