Chelsea David Luiz unaware of Barca interest

Chelsea defender David Luiz revealed he could be interested in move to Camp Nou, but is unsure, whether the La Liga giants will make an offer for him.

According to the recent transfer rumours, David Luiz, normally a centre-back who can be employed in midfield, is a transfer target for the newly crowned La Liga champions.

26-year-old Brazil international Luiz, who has been a star performer both in Europa League and Premier League games, is reportedly an admirer of Barcelona style. However he remains in the dark as to the latest speculation.

He said: “My objective is to be happy and this is possible playing always in a team that controls the ball. Barcelona is the team that has developed the best football in the last few years. I know Barca were interested in my services in the past but now I do not have any news.”
