Chelsea De Bruyne is keen on joining Borussia Dortmund

Borussia Dortmund director of sport Michael Zorc confirmed Chelsea starlet Kevin De Bruyne is keen on making a switch to Westfalenstadion.

The 21-year-old is no stranger to German football, after spending a season on long at Werder Bremen. The Dutchman has also been linked with a swoop to Bayer Leverkusen as a makeweight in part-exchange deal that saw Andre Schurrle moving to Stamford Bridge. However De Bruyne rejected the contract offer from Bayer Leverkusen and was removed from the deal by Chelsea.

Zorc insists the player is willing to join the Bundesliga and Champions League runners-up. He said: “We are interested in the signature of Kevin De Bruyne. We are not at the helm in this respect, of course. I am however able to confirm the player does want to make a transfer to our club.”
