Chelsea target Aubameyang

Chelsea are lining up a summer move for highly-rated St Etienne forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

The Champions League title holders have sent their scouts to watch the 23-year-old in action on Friday, as the St. Etienne drew 2-2 with Rennes. Aubameyang has impressed the scouts with an excellent performance scoring his 17th goal of the season.

Aubameyang’s deal with his current club is due to expire in 2016, but the player has revealed he needs to leave to further his career with the Blues considered as favourites to secure his services in summer. Borussia Dortmund and Newcastle are also said to be closely monitoring the situation.
