Chelsea vs Manchester United and other Premier League fixtures
Mission impossible for David Moyes as he travels to Stamford Bridge without his prolific striking duo in Robin van Persie and Wayne Rooney, while Jose Mourinho has not lost a single Premier League home match since 2004.
Chelsea vs Manchester United
It’s going to be arguably the most difficult match for the Scot in current season as he will have to do without his best attackers and The Blues have conceded only once in the last six matches in all tournaments. To make things worse for United, plenty of first-team players are injured and will not be able to helf their team. Apart from the strikers, Nani, Patrice Evra, Jonny Evans, Rio Ferdinand, Phil Jones, Marouane Fellaini and Ashley Young are all doubtful for the game. Chelsea, who have lately bolstered their squad with another midfielder Nemanja Matic, will only miss Branislav Ivanovic in the match that could become the end of United title hopes.
Sunderland vs Southampton
The two clubs have already met two times in 2013/2014. They have drawn back in August and Sunderland won in the League Cup as they are set for a third encounter at the Stadium of Light on Saturday. Mauricio Pochettino will stay at the helm of the team despite rumours cliaming he would leave after the resignation of Nicola Cortese. However, many of Southampton players are being scouted by other Premier League clubs which does not do any good for he team spirit. The Black Cats, however, are on the rescue campaign and lie just six points adrift of mid-table Hull City. Pablo Osvaldo is thge only big miss ahead of the clash.
Manchester City vs Cardiff City
Every game at Etihad Stadium has become a highly entertaining performance with plenty of goals coming. With Sergio Aguero returning from calf injury and in-form Edin Dzeko and Alvaro Ngredo, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer needs thorough preparation to leave Manchester with his head held high. Former United forward signed two compatriots Magnus Wolff Eikrem and Mats Möller Daehli in a bid to save Cardiff from relegation but is yet to get his first win in Premier League.
