Chelsea want Coentrão

Daily Star states that Chelsea will try to tie up deal for Real Madrid’s left back Fábio Coentrão.

The Blues are reportedly looking to sign the defender capable to fill in the left back vacancy if Ashley Cole leaves the club. Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich sticks to the politics of offering a one-year deal extension to the aging players and 30 year-old Ashley Cole is likely to snub the one-year contract.

Chelsea are prepared to table a £12 million bid for the Portugal international who has made 7 appearances this season.
