Del Bosque: Villa is the best Spanish goalscorer

The Spanish tactician hails the recovery of Barcelona striker.

Spain head coach Vicente del Bosque welcomed the return of David Villa underlining the striker’s special role in the national side.

“The change in Villa is the best thing; the optimism he’s giving off at the moment. It’s different from before. Fortunately he’s recovered. We’ve recovered the best Spanish goalscorer,” he said.

The tactician also confirmed that Victor Valdes will appear in the starting line-up in the match against Finland on Friday.
