Dortmund chase Newcastle Cisse

Borussia Dortmund are weighing up a move for Newcastle striker Papis Cisse, who they consider as an ideal replacement to Robert Lewandowski.

German giants are on the verge of losing their main striker to bitter rivals Bayern Munich and actively looking for replacement. Cisse who is no stranger to Bundesliga, spent three years at Freiburg before joining Newcastle for £9 million in January, 2011. He has scored 13 goals in 14 appearances during his debut season at the club. Cisse managed to retain his impressive goal scoring form, netting 13 goals this season.

The Magpies will be understandably reluctant to let their proven striker go, however offer in region of £15 million could persuade them to reconsider the decision.
