Eriksen plays down Dortmund transfer link

Ajax star Christian Eriksen revealed his proposed move to Borussia Dortmund is far fro, being completed.

With only one year remaining on Eriksen’s contract, Ajax are likely to cash in on their best player.

The 21-year-old Danish playmaker has been linked with a move to the German giants, with the Danish media suggesting the deal has been completed. However Eriksen himself rubbished the rumours claiming he is yet to enter the negotiations with Champions League runners-up.

He said: “I still haven’t heard anything,” Eriksen told Bold.dk. “I’ve just seen what is in the papers. Of course it is pointless if there isn’t any truth to the rumours. But I’ve read a lot, and so far nothing is completely true. I’ve said it before that Dortmund is an option that would be good for me, but it is not the only option.”
