Europa League preview: Chelsea vs Sparta Prague

Chelsea have every chance of reaching the last-16 after securing 1-0 win over resilient Sparta Prague at the Generali Arena with super-sub Oscar scoring a winner in the 82nd minute of the game.

Rafa Benitez has decided to rest Lampard and Ivanovic with Sunday’s six-pointer against Manchester City in mind. Demba Ba is ineligible due to being cup-tied after playing for Newcastle, while Oriol Romeu is on the sidelines with a long-term knee injury.

Jiri Jarosik has not featured in the first leg in Prague, but will be fit and healthy to play on Thursday.
