Everton welcomes Pienaar back

Steven Pienaar penned a four-year deal with Everton.

Pienaar first appeared in Everton in 2007, but last season was loaned to Tottenham where he did not manage to secure a place in the first team. The player decided to return to the Toffees, stating: ‘I have never had doubt in my head that I would be back to this club. At the end of the season I told the manager how I felt and I am happy now it is all done.’

Everton manager David Moyes stated Pienaar was the main target of the team on the transfer market this summer.
